As busy, working professionals we get that you don’t have time to track down crazy and exotic ingredients to make a smoothie! That’s why we’ve compiled a list of our favorite smoothie recipes, all super simple and packed full of vitamins, ensuring you have the happiest and healthiest day possible!
One sip and you're transported to a place where shoes are optional and early afternoon siestas are encouraged, think island time in a glass. The smoothie's strong coconut and pineapple flavors will have you wishing you were on a beach with your feet up. Bonus: It's also vegan and dairy free!
All you need is:
1 cup of fresh baby spinach
3/4 cup of coconut milk
1 cup of frozen pineapple.
First, add the coconut milk and spinach to a blender and blend on a high speed until the liquid is completely smooth, then add frozen pineapple and blend again, until smooth.
Strawberry banana smoothie
With these natural sweet flavors, you’ll think you’re indulging in a strawberry Banana milkshake! But don't worry, there's only fruit and milk in sight. Bonus: Strawberries are full of antioxidants, as well as vitamins C & K!
For this one, you’ll need:
1 ripe banana sliced (about 1/2 cup)
10 ounces of frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 cup of milk.
Place the strawberries, bananas, and milk in a blender and puree until smooth and creamy, done!
Blueberry chocolate smoothie
With this smoothie's one tablespoon of cocoa powder, we’re sure you’ll be able to kick your chocolate craving to the curb. Bonus: blueberries are a super-fruit and promote brain health, improving everything from memory to mood!
All you need is:
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 cup of milk.
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, it’s as easy as that!
